Pinpoint Pest Control is a third-generation family-owned business. Bill Tanksley started in the pest control industry in 1971 as a route technician and worked his way to upper management by the 1990s. He and his son, Steve, purchased Pinpoint Pest Control in the mid-90s and have worked together to bring customer-focused, high-quality pest control solutions to North San Diego County. 

Bill retired in 2015 and Steve is now operating our business with the help of his two oldest sons. As an Associate Certified Entomologist, Steve carries multiple pest control licenses and has been published in scientific journals and industry magazines. This in-depth knowledge and decades of professional experience inform every step we take to protect you, your family, your employees, and anyone visiting your home or business from the possible negative effects of a pest infestation.
