Open Positions
Branch 3 Termite Inspector
Pinpoint Pest Control | North County San Diego
Pinpoint Pest Control is looking for an experienced, professional Branch 3 Termite Inspector to join our growing team.
We are a family-owned pest control company serving North County San Diego and are looking for someone who knows how to inspect properties thoroughly, communicate clearly with homeowners, and develop honest, accurate recommendations for termite and wood-destroying organism work.
This is not a high-pressure sales position. We are looking for an inspector who can identify problems, explain them well, build customer trust, and sell appropriate work based on what the property actually needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete Branch 3 termite and wood-destroying organism inspections.
- Identify evidence of drywood termites, subterranean termites, wood-destroying fungi, and other reportable conditions.
- Prepare accurate inspection findings, diagrams, reports, recommendations, and estimates.
- Explain findings and treatment options clearly to homeowners, property managers, Realtors, and other clients.
- Recommend appropriate treatments, repairs, fumigation, localized treatments, or corrective work based on inspection findings.
- Follow California Structural Pest Control Board requirements and company procedures.
- Maintain organized documentation and accurate customer records.
- Communicate with the office and production team to ensure sold work is properly scheduled and completed.
- Provide professional follow-up when customers have questions regarding inspection findings or proposals.
- Support the Pinpoint Pest Control team as needed with other pest control-related inspections, services, field activities, customer needs, and day-to-day operations within the employee's licensing, training, and qualifications.
- Work collaboratively with our Branch 2, office, sales, and production teams to help ensure company-wide customer and operational needs are met.
Qualifications
- Current California Branch 3 Field Representative or Operator license appropriate for the work being performed.
- Previous termite inspection experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of residential construction and common termite and wood-destroying organism conditions.
- Ability to inspect attics, crawlspaces, subareas, roofs, and other accessible areas as required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with homeowners and explaining technical findings in understandable terms.
- Honest, dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Willingness to work as part of the larger Pinpoint Pest Control team and assist outside of primary Branch 3 responsibilities when reasonably needed and qualified to do so.
What We're Looking For
We want someone who takes pride in doing a complete inspection rather than rushing through properties looking for something to sell.
Our reputation is extremely important to us. We expect our inspectors to provide honest recommendations, document what they find, communicate well with customers, and represent Pinpoint Pest Control professionally.
The right person should be comfortable selling work, but the sale should come as a result of a good inspection and a well-explained solution.
We're also looking for a team player. While Branch 3 inspections and termite-related work will be the primary responsibility of this position, we're a growing company and expect everyone to be willing to step in and support the rest of the team when needed.
What We Offer
- Established local company with a strong customer base.
- Consistent inspection opportunities generated by our existing pest control customers and marketing.
- Company vehicle and necessary inspection equipment.
- Office and scheduling support.
- FieldRoutes, Voice for Pest, and Smarter Launch proficiency is a plus.
- Strong local reputation and established customer relationships.
- Opportunity to grow with an expanding termite division.
- Compensation structure designed to reward both production and quality.
- If you're an experienced Branch 3 termite professional looking for a company where quality work, customer service, teamwork, and long-term relationships matter, we'd like to hear from you.

- Able to perform the physical requirements of pest control work, including walking properties, carrying equipment, bending, reaching, and working outdoors.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for more than someone who can spray houses.
A good Pinpoint technician pays attention to the property, looks for problems, communicates with the customer, and takes ownership of their route.
We expect our technicians to work efficiently, but we don't believe in rushing through stops just to hit a number. Quality service, customer retention, and doing the job correctly come first.
We're also looking for a team player. Your route will be your primary responsibility, but we're a growing company and expect everyone to be willing to step in and support the rest of the team when needed.
The right person should be comfortable working independently while knowing that the office and management team are available whenever support is needed.
What We Offer
- Full-time, established pest control route.
